Anna Nicole Smith's daughter, Dannielynn, loses out on mom's … – USA TODAY

Poor little Dannielynn.

The daughter of Anna Nicole Smith, who is now 7,  will not get a dime of money from the billionaire her mother married.

Here’s the story:

Anna Nicole Smith married Texas billionaire J. Howard Marshall in 1994. He was 89. She was 24.

He died the next year and left his estimated $1.6 billion estate to his son, E. Pierce Marshall, and nothing to Smith.

Smith fought his will, to no avail.

Anna Nicole Smith went on to give birth to Dannielynn in September 2006. The troubled starlet died of an accidental drug overdose in 2007.

Over the course of nearly 20 years, all courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court, have rejected Smith’s lawyers’ various attempts to overturn Marshall’s will and trust and to obtain money from his estate.

Last year, it looked as if some $49 million might be coming Dannielynn’s way from a California judge. But now that’s off the table.

In a ruling on Monday, a Santa Ana, Calif., judge denied a final request, adding, “It is neither reasonable nor practical to go forward.”

Meanwhile, Larry Birkhead, Dannielynn’s father, has been busy raising the little girl, and shared a sweet photo of her on Twitter last week as she headed off to third grade.

Birkhead told E! last year that it’s not easy being a single dad, but that Dannielynn has long known about her famous mom.

“I have told her from a young age, ‘Mom’s in heaven’; she understands that,” he explained.
