Atletico Madrid are keen to move Joao Felix on this summer, but not at all costs. Their record signing remains part of their side, but there is relatively little consensus on where he could end up.
Felix has declared his desire to play for Barcelona, and late on Sunday night it was reported that Barcelona had offered a swap deal for Felix, with Ansu Fati heading the other way.
That deal has been rejected by Atletico Madrid. Relevo say that they want to either sell Felix outright, or negotiate a loan deal with an obligation to buy, something they are so far maintaining firm on.

Meanwhile, Fati also remains reluctant to leave the club. He is aware of the club’s stance that he is expendable, but would not be interested in a move to Los Rojiblancos. If he does depart, he would only do so in the case of a team offering him an avenue that tempts him.
For Barcelona, in order to sign Felix they must still fulfil a series of requirements before they can consider moving for the mercurial Portuguese talent. While there is a clear interest from the hierarchy at Barcelona in doing a deal, the Sporting Department do not consider him a priority.

Thank god for that ansu fati is by far the better player out of the two imo,this potential swap deal shouldn’t have even been considered in the first place if indeed it ever even was true or being considered to begin with.
The only reason i would see any truth in this is if laporta was holding hands with jorge mendes again and trying to please him like he usually does lol.
Mendes for sure has a lot of influence. ATM are prob giving him a hard time about getting rid of Felix and he’s most likely trying to use the Cancelo deal as leverage to take care of two things at once.
Swapping Ansu for Felix is ridiculous though, and the club shouldn’t consider it.
Yeah, if this were true why nt do the swap thing with ferran torres, fati is far more clinical than him,i think torres has performed charms(juju) on xavi and the board.

Thank god this didn’t happen. I’m really worried that the board even tried it. Felix failed at ATLETICO and Chelsea. We have Fati, Abde, and the not so good Raphina. Why on earth would we want Félix
