Everton defender Seamus Coleman appears to be on course to return to first-team football at the end of October, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that he soon could be back to light training, if he hasn’t already as he’s been out for a number of months.
The 34-year-old Republic of Ireland international last played for the Toffees in May against Leicester City and had to be stretchered off the field in that game.
On August 23, he stated he would be back in six to eight weeks.

Coleman is rehabbing from a knee ligament injury and the only information I’ve seen from the club is that it’s not an ACL injury.
At this stage, he’s likely returning and/or been involved in sports-specific movements and progressing those to the point he can return to light training potentially.
There’s a good chance that he’s back in October, given his comments in August.
Despite his age, right until his injury setback, Coleman was the first-choice right-back for the Toffees.
This season, Nathan Patterson has been Sean Dyche’s go to option there while the likes of James Garner and Ben Godfrey have also been deployed there in recent months.
Dyche will be hoping to have Coleman return to action as soon as possible as he’s not just an important player on the field but is a leader and has a massive impact on the dressing room as well.
In other Everton news, a senior Toffees player has been ripped to shreds by a TNT Sports pundit after what he did against Sheffield United.
