Mo Salah LEAVES Liverpool training after Al-Ittihad make new improved offer for Reds icon – Yahoo News UK

Mohamed Salah has left Liverpool’s training ground amid claims that Saudi club Al-Ittihad have made an improved offer for the winger.
Al-Ittihad have already seen a £150m package rejected by the Reds, with Jurgen Klopp desperate to keep hold of Salah for at least another season.
Despite this, Salah is still ‘open’ to leaving Liverpool and has been offered a record-breaking contract by the Saudi club. Personal terms would not be an issue.
According to transfer journalist Santi Aouna, Al-Ittihad have made a ‘new offer’ for Salah, thought to be in excess of the £150m bid Liverpool have already rejected.
On Twitterhe wrote: Details of the offer for Salah: Contract until June 2027. Salah will also get 3 years more on image rights for an ambassador role. Salary between $500-600m (£396m-£475m) on total package.
“Salah will say YES if Liverpool accept the new offer of Al-Ittihad.”

Aouna does not state how much Al-Ittihad have put on the table for Salah this time, but Sky Sports suggest that they are willing to spend £200m on the Egypt international.
Despite the eye-watering fee, Salah would still be a huge loss for Liverpool, especially so close to the transfer deadline. He is the Reds’ leading Premier League goal scorer and has shown no signs of slowing down, netting 30 goals in all competitions last term.
If Salah does leave, Klopp would have little time to find a replacement, too.
As previously reported by TEAMtalk, the Reds have kept a close eye on the likes of Juventus winger Federico Chiesa, as well as West Ham star Jarod Bowen as potential replacements for Salah. Plenty of other names have been discussed as well as them.
With that in mind, it will be interesting to see if Al-Ittihad break Liverpool’s resolve with their latest offer for Salah. If they do, the Merseyside club are in for a frantic end to the transfer window.
